Borders Green Summit

Please find below a summary of the Borders Green Summit that took place on 11 March 2023.  There are a lot of “pages” but many are pictures.  Get yourself a cuppa and settle down for a read.  Also, feel free to pass on to others.

 

We had a fantastic day, and for those that couldn’t make it, we were sorry you weren’t with us.  This is the start of our effort to have one voice to represent us and pull together, supporting each other, aiming for common goals, creating alternative economic models and making real change.  Communities, CICs, charities, private businesses, statutory bodies (particularly our councils both community, SBC and beyond) all working together.

 

Many more plans and activities are now afoot as a result of this event, combined with Scottish Government’s plan to develop climate hubs in key regions in Scotland, including here in the Scottish Borders.  We all need to be ready for this, to have our plans laid out of what we want to see happen in the Scottish Borders.
